Benefits of a single trip policy
Single trip travel insurance policies are usually cheaper than buying annual cover. However, if you’re taking several overseas holidays in the one year, our Annual Multi-Trip Policy may be a more cost-effective option.
If you book your Single Trip cover with us before your trip, you’ll also be covered for cancellation and alteration costs before you depart overseas. That’s why it’s always a great idea to start your travel insurance as soon as you’ve booked your flights - not at the last-minute.
Travel insurance for short trips
If you’re travelling solo for two days or less, your insurance can cost even less than a meal.
Our TravelCare cover gives you comprehensive cover for your short trips overseas. So whether it’s a quick long-weekend escape to a nearby destination or an overseas wedding, you can enjoy peace of mind at an unbeatable price.
Staying safe overseas
With the right research, preparation and advice, your holiday can be an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons.
Always research your destination on Smartraveller and follow any medical advice or safety warnings. Remember, your travel insurance may not cover you if your destination has a ‘Do Not Travel’ or ‘Reconsider Your Need to Travel’ warning on Smartraveller when booking your policy.
